Read Henry County Docket Entries

Missed Henry County Court Dates
Docket entries become especially important after a missed court date. Clinton Municipal Court states that after a not-guilty plea and municipal trial, a defendant has a right to appeal to the Circuit Court of Henry County by trial de novo. The appeal must be filed within ten calendar days of judgment, and the filing fee is $30 per ticket or violation. If the fee is not posted within that period, the original fine and sentence apply.
The Clinton source also warns that if a defendant does not appeal within ten days, the person must appear at 1:30 p.m. on the court date to abide by the sentence, or a bench warrant could issue.
